It’s not only traffic avoidance these days — I find myself avoiding things like moving candy and trains as I navigate each level on the way to the finish. I had a hunger for candy canes so I could unlock quirky new vehicles, the sense of progression was very good in a 'just one more level' sort of way.

While I agreed with my fellow gamers that the never-ending roll so characteristic of the vehicle was a little vexing—almost like a sleigh unclamped on snow—it did raise the stakes for the ruckus. Mastering the timing so as not to crash became an art, making it all the better.
