After spending some time with Yummy Tales 2, I’ve experienced this bright-colored matching 3 puzzler as both a complete novice and someone marginally more experienced. It’s a game that whisks you into its charms with its simple premise — help your pal Oscar the dog feed the farm animals by matching up fruits and veggies. But don’t be deceived; although the premise is simple, the game boasts more than 900 levels that will challenge your puzzle-solving skills more than you may realize. The bonus missions and challenges each day add a layer of variety and provide some nice rewards (including coins and boosters that might come in handy to get through some of the more difficult levels).

Reactions from other players seem to range from admiration for its casual pace to the occasional frustration of getting stuck on a tricky puzzle... but isn’t that simply part of the charm? Comments vary from, however, small, inquiries about the last half into simple casual enjoyments, something, there's clearly an engaged community, but hungry for a lot more than a little handyman.

Though not groundbreaking, Yummy Tales 2 is a good distraction for anyone looking to chew-up some time or test their puzzle-building mettle in a low-stakes, low-stress manner. Also, who can resist helping those adorable farm animals along with Oscar? This is definitely a sweet little title to add to your casual gaming library.
